RTGS/NEFT Facility
VCBank has tied up with other public sector & private Banks to carry out RTGS for quick fund transfers anywhere in the country. The term “RTGS” stands for Real Time Gross Settlement. RTGS system is a funds transfer mechanism where transfer of money takes place from one bank branch to another bank branch on a “real time” and on “gross” basis. You can send to any person of any bank instantly. This service is available at all our branches.
Bank has implemented waiving of charges for RTGS/NEFT facility. The RTGS service for customer’s transactions is available from 9.00 AM to 2.00 PM on week days and 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM on Saturdays. As the RTGS transactions are not carried out by the bank directly, the remitting customers are required to come to the bank at least one hour before the service closing time so that the required RTGS transactions can be carried out quickly on the same day through its sponsored Bank.
The remitting customer has to furnish the following information to a bank for effecting a RTGS remittance:
- Name of the Beneficiary Bank.
- Name of the Beneficiary Customer.
- Account type and Number of the Beneficiary Customer.
- Amount to be remitted.
- Remitting customer’s account type and Number which is to be debited.
- Sender to Receiver information, if any.
